*Julie started dj'ing in 1991 where she was resident alongside Danny Howells at the Crypt in Hastings. As her reputation grew she began dj'ing much further afield, finally covering most of the UK and Ireland.

In 1995 Julie moved to London where she was resident at Club UK. In 1996 she was resident for 2 years at Sundance at the Gardening Club in Covent Garden.

In 1996 Julie came 2nd in the "Fairlope Waters DJ Competition" in which 500 djs entered.

In 1998 she won "Redemption UK DJ of the Year" which was run by DJ Mag. She saw off all 2,000 competitors.

In December 1999 Julie won yet another title beating over 200 female djs to become "Nivea Female DJ of the Year". She also received rave reviews from Lisa Loud.

She has now been resident for 3 years at Funkt at the Mass in Brixton, London. She also runs her own night called House Work for 2 years at the Dog Star, also in Brixton.

Julie is always working in Ireland and her favourite clubs to play are Space and Bliss in Dublin. In the UK she regularly plays and guests at Blue, Sundissential, Space, the Escape (Brighton and Wales), Love To Be and Nice to name a few!

In June 2000 Julie played at the Radio 1 Love Parade and she also enjoys playing in Europe.

In 1995 Julie had her own radio show on Shakedown Fm and she won awards for the last 3 years of "Best Radio Show". Sadly, she left in 1999 as she moved to Surrey.

Julie has been a guest many times on Kiss FM and has been interviewed for the radio when she has done gigs in Malta. Television has also been a firm favourite with Julie. The Redemption Finals were shown on MTV worldwide. She has also done live TV spots on Meridian "Talking Through" and showing viewers how to dj. Julie has also featured on Rapture TV. She now has a couple of TV projects on the go with her interviewing skills.

Julie has run a school to teach dj'ing and also travels around the south of the country visiting schools and giving dj lectures and demonstrations which she finds very rewarding.

Julie has appeared in many magazines and newspapers, including DJ Mag, Mixmag, M8, Club On, Company, the Star and many others.

In 1998 she released her first single "Kick n Curb" on Bitchin Trax which notched up some pretty hefty sales and has had more sought after white labels since. She has recently remixed Robin Scott's 80's hit "Pop Muzik" by "M" which is going to be released in Europe and the UK. There are many more projects in the pipeline. Julie now runs BPM Records which as released Tracks by amoebaassassin and Andy Gray V Tori Amos.
